Practical learning
Short thinking-skills lessons for dads
Brief CBT-inspired educational lessons using fatherhood examples across patience, guilt, relationships, work-life pressure, identity, and self-worth.
The short answer
Bestead includes short, locally bundled lessons organized around six areas: new fatherhood, anger and patience, guilt and shame, work-life balance, relationships, and self-worth. Most bundled lessons are designed for about five to seven minutes and combine plain-language explanation, fatherhood examples, exercises, and reflection questions. They borrow educational ideas associated with cognitive behavioral approaches, but they are not a course of therapy and do not assess or treat a mental-health condition.
